The NZ Primary Healthcare Awards extend and replace the successful 28-year-old Pharmacy Awards.
Supporting the primary care sector
A strong primary care sector is crucial to a successful New Zealand health system, providing great care for patients and a great work environment.
The Health Media and the Pharmacy Guild believe the awards will encourage collaboration and innovation in primary care, and allow the healthcare sector in general, and the public, to see how hard primary care practitioners work to improve the health and wellbeing of all New Zealanders, and keep them out of the secondary care (hospital) system.
The collective aim is to improve access, health and wellbeing outcomes for Māori and non-Māori alike, and the awards celebrate the work that is already happening as a means to encouraging further collaboration.
Awards gala dinner
Winners will be honoured at a glittering black-tie gala at the Auckland waterfront’s Shed 10 on 29 February 2020. The night will celebrate and showcase the best of the best across primary healthcare.
You don’t want to miss the event of the year! Award night tickets are available now.
The awards are generously supported by ACC and sponsored by high-profile health sector groups including the Ministry of Health, Douglas Pharmaceuticals, Green Cross Health and more.
